Tuesday Tips! Want to have more balance in your life? Start with a healthy mindset! Here are three simple changes we make TODAY to get started:

1. Have an apple, whole grain crackers, or nuts to snack on throughout the day, rather than letting your body become extremely hungry.
2. Focus on high-fiber foods! Eat more fruits and vegetables; they will leave you feeling fuller.
3. A cheat meal is OKAY! Choose what day you want to eat your favorite meal or dessert and enjoy!

I know we have all heard the words "self-care" before, but do we do it? Self-care does not equal selfish. Self-care requires taking care of ourselves, and can be as simple as saying "no" if it means less stress for you. Is all the stress in life worth your sanity? Take a bubble bath, read your favorite book, go for a walk, or meditate! Do yourself a FAVOR and set aside half an hour each day for YOU! Make a CHANGE and show yourself some love on this beautiful, sunny Sunday!

Spinning is a fantastic cardiovascular exercise, that will not only improve your lung capacity, but will also strengthen your heart allowing it to pump more blood through your body with ease. For those of you that are hesitant to workout because of joint issues, Spinning is a great nonimpact form of exercise.

Never cycled before? Don't be afraid! We will walk with you step by step through the learning process: from learning how to set up your bike properly to how to read the monitors to get the most out of your workouts! We know that your first spin class can be intimidating, but we will make sure your first experience is comfortable!
