With 20+ years of experience in fitness and wellness, Beverly is eager to share her passion for movement. Her enthusiasm is fueled by the successes of her clients as they discover the benefits of Pilates and exercise in their daily lives. Seeing and feeling the positive affects fitness has for all ages and body types is very exciting and rewarding as she continues to challenge herself to grow as an instructor. With first-hand experience of how stress and injuries can affect our bodies, she strives to focus on practice, not perfection. Beverly works with all types of clients, from post-rehab to competitive athletes. As an educator, she is committed to helping her clients achieve their fitness goals by becoming stronger, mindful of the body’s posture, breath, flexibility and core strength. Beverly continues to teach her clients to never stop moving, no matter what age!

After owning and operating the very successful and highly respected studio, The Pilates Body Shop, she decided to expand her studio and opened Reform and Ride offering classes in Pilates, Cycling, and Group Fitness, as well as private sessions. In 2018, Beverly became a Pilates Teacher Trainer so she could pass on her passion to new instructors.

Bekah Adkins is a native of Dallas, Texas, where she began her love of dance at the age of three. She attended Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts as a dance student where she had the opportunity to invest herself in the realm of modern dance and choreography at an early age. Bekah went on to receive her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree, in Dance, at Sam Houston State University. During her four years of college, she choreographed two works, one of which, Little Tease, was selected to represent SHSU in an adjudicated concert, at the American College Dance Association. In November 2016, she performed in The Dance Gallery Festival, in New York, NY. She has performed professionally with Noble Motion Dance and Von Ussar Danceworks. From San Francisco to Italy, Bekah has trained nationally and internationally in obtaining her dance training. She has performed in works created by many notable choreographers including, Ohad Naharin, Dwight Rhoden, Takehiro Ueyama, and Larry Kegwin. Alongside her passion for performance and choreography, Bekah also has a love for Pilates. In 2015, Bekah suffered a severe low lumbar injury that greatly stunted her growth in dance performance and caused her chronic pain. She began training in Pilates, 4-5 times weekly, to rehabilitate her injury and is now able to dance healthy and live pain-free. Due to this experience, she knew that she wanted to help others find their own strong, healthy bodies through the power of Pilates. She received her Pilates certifications, in Mat and Reformer, through Sam Houston State and Balanced Body. Bekah is now a freelance dance teacher for the DFW area and a Pilates instructor at Reform and Ride, in Frisco, TX.
